What is going on 901’ers?

From the desk of Danny Mulligan:

Good evening folks, this is Danny Mulligan, local DJ for Denver’s favorite hits: 90.1FM. THE 901. You may be hearing a very different voice on the airwaves back home in Colorado if you tune in. The reason why? I’m trapped with our neighbors up north. I’m talking Canada. Land of the maple syrup and the mozza cheese with the French fries, or whatever cheese it is. They say there is an issue with my ‘credentials’ and it will take at least a week to sort out. So I’m stuck here with my Canadian family, drinking red wine and feasting on strange gravy based cuisine.

Here is what is bothering me however, my loyal 901’ers! My dear cousin just received this letter in the mail. I’ve attached it. Now what do you reckon it means? What is the current situation as far as end of the world goes? The letter says to expect further contact. Further instructions. I just miss my good ol’ Miller and Football. Dig it?
