One day, a ghost appeared inside city hall. It was well documented… there were hundreds of witnesses and it was captured on video surveillance. It turned out to be the ghost of a city counsellor from about 100 years ago. It became huge worldwide news. The strange part was that most people, including the news, believed it was proof of God and the afterlife. The headlines were along those lines "Proof of God Appears in Toronto City Hall". There was a scientist that was trying to make people understand that even though it was proof of something, it was not necessarily proof of God. After studying the video and listening to accounts of witnesses, his theory was that it was caused by a light being thrown forward in time. He thought that if we could study this objectively, it could be the biggest scientific discovery of modern day, possibly ever. But no one would listen. His theories became drowned out by religious debates over God.
